About this site

Robin Rides the Divide is a personal project and labour of love — a community resource created to help fellow riders preparing for or riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR). It is free, ad-free, and independent.

Trail information disclaimer

All trail data, resources, mileages, elevations and tips on this site are provided as-is, for general reference only. Conditions on the ground change constantly — roads wash out, businesses close, water sources run dry, and seasons shift access. I accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of information on this site. Always verify conditions locally and carry proper maps.

The Trail Companion app

The Trail Companion is a planning and reference aid — it is not a navigation device and must never be relied upon as your sole source of navigation, especially in remote areas. Carry the official Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) maps and digital route data, a dedicated GPS or paper maps, and the skills to use them.

Third-party content & links

This site links to external content (shops, campgrounds, blogs, videos and more) to help riders. Those links do not imply endorsement or affiliation with the referenced people or organisations unless explicitly stated. There are no affiliate links.

Community contributions

Riders can help by suggesting a new stop or a correction — for example a wrong location, a closed business, or an updated phone number. Suggestions are sent to me by email and are reviewed by hand before anything appears on the site. This site does not currently accept photo uploads or public ratings, and there is no user login. Please keep suggestions accurate and only send information you have the right to share.

Privacy

When you contribute, a name and email may be collected purely so I can follow up about your submission. That information is never shared or sold to third parties. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
